death cab for cutie and as cities burn is a funny combination of music. but that's how i roll. ;] yay for 'rawr' shirts my favorite shade of purple and rockstar pants! ha. fav two store at MOA (that i went to) - hot topic and rainbow! ragstock was good too, though. dani moodie and i got those plastic tiaras that 4-year-old girls always like to wear, and we wore them for the rest of the weekend. it was awesome sauce. and also kinda funny, because not only did people constantly ask if it was our birthday or something, but i actually hung out with the boys a lot this weekend because they like the more intense rides and so do i. so it was eric moodie, chase, and this guy named grant who i just met but seems pretty cool. of course, hanging out with these guys is a bit different than hanigng out with my guy friends in belgium because eric, chase, and grant are younger than me, not slightly older. eric is two years and 7 months minus one day younger than me, chase is about that age, and grant is what, 15? yeah. eric and chase are incoming frosh, and grant was a freshman last year. :] lol @ freshmen. they're fun.
i stayed at moodie's again last night. because we were all really tired of driving. not too mention it was six people is a car designed for four. we went from MOA to grants house, which is i don't know where, like 40 minutes away, with shana driving of course, grant in the front seat, then the rest of us in the back: chase, then dani in the middle which isn't actually a seat, and then me on eric's lap, lol. he totally complained like half the way home. i laughed. except my back hurt from sitting funny. so anyways... when we got back to moodie's, everybody was tired. so we hung out - dani and i had fun with clothes, then um. um. shoot bananas, i don't remember! oh. right. then we went downstairs and watched Stick It, which i liked a lot. then we had dinner and watched family matters and home improvement and snuggled on the couch, the whole family and me :] although us kids jumped on the trampoline in between, like on commercials. yay. i can do a front flip and front handspring, but i don't want to try any backwards stuff without somebody to spot me, because last time i did that i landed on my neck. ha.
oh! that's right, funny story - so you know those people in the mall who have their little carts and try and sell you things? well, i was waiting for dani and shana to finish in wet seal and we were waiting for the boys to come from the other part of the mall, and i saw this guy with a hair straightener. so i decided to go over there, let him straighten my hair, and then say 'let me think about buying that' and walk away. so i did. we were talking of course, (his name was tony) and apparently he lived in brussels for awhile and went to ISB! small world much? ha. yeah.
mmm, i miss the moodies already. but i think that i might see them later this week, because OMG THE DARK KNIGHT IS COMING OUT! YAY! NANANANANANANANA BATMAN.... so yeah, we wanna go see the midnight showing. although rachel and laura and wanted to go see it too. but i don't think the driving will work out, because we're going to go see brad and liz and lauren up in st. cloud on thursday afternoon. and probably won't be back until REALLY late. but moodie's is on the way back, so maybe.... :]
